NFS UNBOUND - Handling Design

Introducing the Nissan 350Z in Need for Speed: Unbound. This car is brought back as a tribute to the fan-favourite Rachel's 350Z from Need for Speed Underground 2.
I designed the vehicle handling for this car, it was a great experience. My main focus was to stay true to the spirit of the real-life 350Z while making sure the driving experience was both authentic and fun. Finding that balance was a challenge I embraced with enthusiasm during my time at Criterion Games, EA.
I went deep into the technical aspects of vehicle handling, tweaking everything from suspension to engine response to get that perfect blend of realism and arcade-style fun.
